The Building Industry Consultant Standards Institute (BICSI) has provided credentials for qualifying Bytes Managed Solutions employees. The global professional association supports advancing the information and communications technology (ICT) community, and encompasses the design, integration and installation of systems and infrastructure that support ICT. This is one of the most important credentials in the industry.
BICSI established its certification programme to provide the highest level of assurance to the industry and to consumers that participants have the knowledge and credentials in designated areas of information communication technology (ICT) design and/or installation.
Candidates for BICSI certification must adhere to strict standards of conduct and keep their knowledge current through continuing education, are required to demonstrate industry experience, and pass rigorous exams based on the content of BICSI manuals and industry standards.
"BICSI credentials mean that Bytes Managed Solutions' staff accreditation leads to standard conformation and therefore greater quality and reliability," says Fourie van der Merwe, Chief Operations Officer at Bytes Managed Solutions.
"From a training and learning perspective, BICSI certification ensures that all our employees are kept up-to-date on the latest technologies and developments in the industry which, in turn, can be passed onto our customers. It's really about ensuring that we remain innovative and at the top of our game. In addition, BICSI members and those holding BICSI registrations and certifications are held to the highest principles of professional and ethical behaviour."
The provision of credentials for certain individual employees adds to a number of certifications achieved, including accreditations for networking design and installation; copper and fibre installations; and modular data centres.
