
Service delivery is a key focus area for Bytes Managed Solutions and with this in mind, the organisation recently appointed Marius Bester as National Service Manager.
Bester has an in-depth understanding of the organisation having begun his career with NCR in 1986 where he worked closely with Bytes Managed Solutions (Bytes MS), which he then joined in 1996. In his new role Bester is tasked with ensuring effective service delivery and resource planning. He describes his approach as customer-focused people leadership. He endeavours to instil an appreciation for placing the customer's needs above all else in his service delivery team and that of the field technicians, who are often the face of the organisation, interacting with customers in their place of business, resolving service tickets and restoring customers equipment back to operability.
Bester is excited by the opportunities his new role presents and will focus on achieving overall customer satisfaction by delivering best in class service. Bester says he is driven to achieve operational excellence in Southern Africa and believes that this can be done through positive interaction with customers and ensuring that all service level agreements are achieved, which he sees as the "ticket to the game".
"I'm really looking forward to working with the team to develop and enforce processes and procedures which will not only ensure compliance to our customers' requirements, but will delight them by delivering excellent customer service," says Bester.
