Bytes Systems Integration (Bytes SI), a division of Bytes Technology Group South Africa (Bytes) has announced it has concluded a channel agreement with specialist security company, Altech NamITech.
Bytes SI will integrate Altech NamITech's managed security offerings into its 24/7 network operations centre based in Midrand.
The channel partner agreement signed between the two extends the Bytes SI Advanced Technology Services division's network offerings extensively and enables the company to provide a comprehensive range of managed security and network services.
The alliance will make Bytes SI one of Altech NamITech's largest partners in the managed security space.
Patrick Hastings, Divisional Director at Bytes SI, comments: "Bytes SI has several blue-chip clients who are looking for a comprehensive managed security service to protect their company assets. Security is top of mind for the majority of CIOs around the globe, as more of a company's intellectual property is moving into the form of digital assets. Bytes SI will now be able to provide its customers with a range of security information management, service availability management, unified threat management, vulnerability assessment management services, patch management services, and wireless managed services offerings.
