Bytes Technology Networks has earned the title of Reseller of the Year in SA from Cisco Systems. This endorsement, announced at the Cisco Partner Summit 2002, comes on the back of Bytes Technology Networks` re-certification as a Cisco Silver Partner.
Steve Midgley, director, channel at Cisco Systems sub-Saharan Africa, says: "Bytes Technology Networks has demonstrated true commitment to Cisco. During our 2001 financial year it embraced Cisco`s new technologies by gaining channel specialisation in IP telephony, wireless and security.
"In addition, Bytes Technology Group increased its Cisco-based revenue during the past financial year and we hope to see this growth in the upcoming financial year."
Johan Mouton, business unit manager at Bytes Technology Networks, says: "Our focus on consultancy and knowledge-based customer relationships versus merely dropping boxes has paid off. We will continue with this strategy into this financial year and we hope to repeat the successes of 2001."
