Computer Associates International, Inc (CA) has announced the immediate availability of wide-ranging e-business management solutions for IBM z/OS Version 1 Release 2, the flagship operating system for IBM`s eServer z900 mainframe.
This announcement coincides with the general availability of the second release of the mainframe operating system.
CA solutions help clients manage their large-scale e-business deployments on z/OS platforms and take maximum advantage of the scalability and availability that this environment offers. The same-day support for z/OS V1R2 spans all of CA`s key focus areas including enterprise management, security, storage, e-business transformation and integration, portal and knowledge management, and predictive analysis and visualisation.
CA also announced immediate support for z/VM Version 4 Release 2, which is generally available today.
