CA awarded new patent for neural network pattern recognition

Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) has announced that it has received a new patent for its advanced, intelligence-based NeugentsTM technology.

The Neugents technology incorporates a number of patented inventions. This new patent recognizes CA`s unique and highly sophisticated technique for mapping patterns across large volumes of complex . The Neugents technology enables the development of intelligent applications that can effectively learn behaviours without explicit knowledge of underlying causes and effects, and extrapolate predictions from those behaviours with heightened accuracy.

The patented Neugents technology is incorporated in CA`s diverse eBusiness software portfolio, including the Unicenter TNG eBusiness management solution and the JasmineiiTM eBusiness platform. The Neugents technology is also in NeugentsiiTM, CA`s intelligent eBusiness solution that enables developers to easily build and deploy "self-learning" applications that can dynamically adjust, predict, and respond to changing business needs.
