Computer Associates International, Inc today announced that it is making two of its PC security software products, the eTrust EZ Armor 2005 Security Suite and eTrust EZ Antivirus 2005, available immediately in more than 3 000 education bookstores throughout North America through an agreement with D&H Distributing.
The move extends CA`s presence in the multibillion-dollar consumer desktop security market and follows the recent availability of these enterprise-class products in more than 6 000 stores in North America.
College bookstores stand to gain strong margin opportunities due to D&H`s academic discount programme. The eTrust EZ products will now realise deeper market penetration by leveraging D&H`s wide-ranging base of college bookstores.

Consumers can also purchase CA`s anti-virus and firewall suite and anti-virus software at more than 6 500 outlets of national chains Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Fry`s, MicroCenter, Office Depot, Office Max, Sam`s Club, Staples, Target and Wal-Mart, as well as more than 200 regional stores. The products will be available in 3 000 additional outlets by 15 October.
