CA launches "interBiz Solutions" to deliver worldwide real-time inter-business management

Computer Associates International, (CA) has announced the launch of "interBiz Solutions" (interBiz), a new division dedicated to assisting worldwide clients, suppliers, and partners to capitalize on e-commerce business opportunities. interBiz consolidates CA`s proven technologies with the competencies of CA application business units to deliver end-to-end inter-business optimisation for companies of all sizes. Reuven Battat has been named interBiz president.

Battat previously served as executive VP and GM of worldwide marketing for CA, where he directed the growth of marketing, public relations, product strategy, strategic business alliance, development partner, and channel partner functions. As a CA senior VP of research and development, Battat led the development and design of CA`s award-winning Unicenter TNG enterprise management solution.

interBiz creates real-time business management solutions that reach beyond standard supply chain management and enterprise resource planning strategies. Its extensive business management framework, named BizWorks, uses core CA technologies -- including Unicenter TNG, Jasmine, 3D visualization and Neugents neural network pattern recognition -- as a new foundation for inter- and intra-business communication. BizWorks provides an array of partner, vertical and homegrown applications with the ability to plug in and achieve enhanced value through an entirely new business management infrastructure.
