Computer Associates International, Inc (CA), the world`s leading provider of e-business management solutions, and Red-M, a leading supplier of advanced Bluetooth networking product solutions, have announced a global partnership that will allow customers to consistently manage secure Bluetooth technology as an integral part of their e-business environment.
The partnership includes the integration of Unicenter TNG, CA`s market-leading enterprise management solution for e-business, with Red-M`s award-winning Bluetooth networking products and technology.
By closely monitoring the networking functions of a Bluetooth network, Unicenter TNG will help ensure that any interruption in service is identified and reported immediately to an administrator for rectification, thus minimising the impact on critical e-business processes.
CA`s partnership with Red-M is an extension of CA`s strategic mobile e-business initiative, that enables rapid and secure deployment and management and integration of enterprise applications for wireless systems and devices - including WAP gateways, laptops, PDAs and Internet-enabled phones.
"In joining forces with a premier Bluetooth networking solutions company, CA is demonstrating its ongoing commitment to managing the growing range of wireless resources found in today`s e-business environments," said Jeff Gartner, vice president, e-business solutions marketing, CA.
"This integrated management and security is essential if customers are to use Bluetooth devices to support critical e-business services in a cost-effective manner."
With the solidly managed mobile infrastructure provided by Unicenter TNG and Red-M`s products, corporations and service providers alike can offer wireless services that bring true business benefits to customers and employees anywhere, at any time.
"We are excited to be a part of CA`s mobile e-business initiative as we bring together best-of-breed technologies in our respective fields," said Simon Gawne, VP of Business Development and Marketing for Red-M. "By bringing together Red-M`s Bluetooth access technology and CA`s enterprise management technology, we are creating a compelling e-business initiative for customers who want to get to market quickly with their mobile strategy while maintaining optimum security and manageability."
Red-M will demonstrate its solutions at CA World from 8 to 12 July in Orlando, Florida.
