CA Southern Africa has announced that CA Technologies has been named a "Leader" in "The Forrester Wave Identity and Access Management Suites, Q3, 2013".
Forrester analysts evaluated nine identity and access management (IAM) suites against 16 criteria to help security and risk professionals select the right solution for their enterprise, business-to-business and consumer-facing IAM deployments. The CA Technologies suite that was evaluated included CA SiteMinder, CA IdentityMinder, CA GovernanceMinder and CA CloudMinder.
In this evaluation, CA Technologies was top-ranked in the Strategy category, and tied for the highest score in Market Presence. Rating criteria included vendor staffing, partners and implementation ecosystem, multi-tenancy and solution pricing, integration and OEM relationships, installed base and more.
"CA Technologies provides a well-rounded suite both in the cloud and on-premises," the report states. "CA Technologies moved from an IAM acquirer to an IAM technology innovator."
Over the last decade, CA Technologies has developed or acquired key components in its IAM suite and has worked to ensure streamlined integration and support across the entire suite. The result is a seamless IAM solution from a single vendor that helps customers strike the balance between enabling the business and protecting the business.
