CA Technologies (CA: NASDAQ) today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant of the report, Magic Quadrant for User Authentication*.
According to the report by Gartner Research Vice-President Ant Allan: “We estimate the overall growth in the market by customers to be approximately 30% year-over-year. Because of the shift towards lower-cost authentication solutions, we estimate the overall growth by revenue to be approximately only 20%.” He writes: “By 2017, more than 50% of enterprises will choose cloud-based services as the delivery option for new or refreshed user authentication implementations, up from less than 10% today.”
