Computer Associates Africa and Trenchant Business Solutions have signed an OEM agreement that will see Trenchant bundling its TrueBiz business administration system with CA`s eTrust EZ Anti-Virus solution.
The offering is particularly aimed at the South African SME and SOHO segments of the market as it offers a comprehensive, yet cost-effective security and business management system to companies.
The eTrust/TrueBiz bundle will be available either for purchase or rental, depending on a user`s needs and, quite obviously, budget.
"At Trenchant we aim to serve the SME and SOHO markets with world-class solutions such as CA`s eTrust EZ Anti-Virus coupled with our own TrueBiz locally developed system," comments Poobie Naidoo, MD of Trenchant.
"We believe this bundle will enable users to effectively and proactively adhere to their security and business administration needs without the resultant capital outlay."

Trenchant`s TrueBiz eliminates the need for repetitive typing of similar information into a variety of business documents, thus enabling the generation of business documents that offer related information which in turn enhances decisions and eliminates costly paper chases and manual cross-referencing.
Complementing TrueBiz is CA`s eTrust EZ Anti-Virus solution that provides complete protection, detection and elimination of thousands of computer viruses, worms and Trojan horse programs.
Additionally, the solution`s easy-to-use interface and frequent automatic updates make it effortless to stay protected, and the small installation file does not strain PC system resources.
The eTrust/TrueBiz bundle will be available through CA and Trenchant`s local channel partners.
