California Payroll expands offering

California Payroll has expanded its time and attendance product offering by adding TimeForce Time & Attendance. TimeForce is offered in two versions, hosted and onsite installation, says PRWeb.

TimeForce SaaS (software-as-a-service), the hosted version, is available either as a standalone product or can be easily integrated with California Payroll's Web-based payroll solution, PayEntry Payroll.

Integration is truly seamless, featuring a single sign-on between the two systems. In addition, employee information is automatically shared between systems, significantly reducing multiple data inputs and errors, which are common with other systems.

Safelite AutoGlass, a provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has chosen UltiPro for its human resources (HR), recruitment, and performance management solution, reports Fox Business.

Since it started using a payroll service bureau's solution several years ago to manage HR information, Safelite expanded and grew its workforce dramatically.

Now, with close to 8 000 employees to manage, the HR team needed a more sophisticated HR solution with strategic talent management tools and real-time reporting and analytics.

With the current economic downturn many small businesses are trying to cut costs by handling their own administrative processes, states MyADSL.

But with continual changes to employee tax and other statutory requirements it is becoming increasingly difficult for even the smallest companies to process their payrolls manually.

If they do, they run the risk of falling behind with their tax, skills levy, UIF and other statutory reports and having to pay penalties, says Philip Meyer, technology director at Softline Pastel Payroll. He adds that today's payroll software applications produce all the necessary returns automatically and are easy to use.
