CxO-level executives should clear their diaries for early June this year, with the launch of Saphila 2014's exclusive Executive Forum. A biennial African event hosted by the African SAP User Group (AFSUG), Saphila 2014 has been completely reinvented for a more focused, engaging conference that now also includes a preferential platform for all executive-level managers, including CTOs, CIOs, CEOs, COOs and CFOs, attending the event.
"The Executive Forum has been especially designed with the busy executive in mind," explains AFSUG vice chairman, Sal Laher. "Its aim is to give executive delegates a more relevant conference experience, with a focus on only the most pertinent content for their level."
While Saphila 2014 will take place from 9 to 11 June, the Executive Forum will include an extra day, along with invitation-only events and sessions. On Sunday 8 June, attending executives will have the option to play a round of golf at the world-class Gary Player Golf Course. "It is well known that the golf course is where business gets done, with even Donald Trump once famously admitting, 'I have done many deals on the golf course'," Laher adds.
After the golf prize giving, executives are invited to join creative thinker, strategist and best-selling author, Frans Johansson, at a banquet dinner. With the growing global reputation of being a must-see presenter on innovation, diversity and success, Johansson is the founder and CEO of innovation and strategy consulting firm, The Medici Group, and is a highly anticipated addition to the Saphila 2014 keynote speaker line-up.
The subsequent two days of Saphila 2014 will feature an executive breakfast; keynote sessions, including round-table discussions, case studies and industry leader insights; networking and exclusive sessions in the Executive Lounge in Saphilatown; along with mainstream sessions and evening events.
In addition, executive members will receive entrance to the Executive Lounge, with access to one-on-one sessions with a number of industry leaders and experts. From here they will also be able to watch keynote presentations in comfort as they are streamed in from the auditorium.
Says Laher: "The brand-new Saphila Executive Forum will provide unique networking opportunities, the chance to discuss innovations, business cases, challenges, business strategies and even to negotiate with SAP. It is a world-class space for executives to move their business and IT forward."
Saphila 2014 will take place from 9 to 11 June at the Sun City Resort in the North-West Province, with the Executive Forum running from 8 to 11 June. For more information or to register for the upcoming event, please visit www.saphila2014.com
