Campus Management partners with Ugandan government in reforming its higher education sector

The Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development, Uganda has chosen Campus Management to supply and implement a computerised education management and accounting system (CEMAS).

Campus Management CEMAS will be a complete integrated state-of-the-art education management and accounting system intended to manage all business processes, resources, domains and operations of public universities and self-accounting tertiary institutions (PUSATIs). The system will help automate and integrate processes in order to cater to the unique financial management and service delivery needs of universities and tertiary institutions.

Campus Management's solutions will ensure access to real-time data and information for PUSATIs connected to the CEMAS infrastructure. It will not only replace all the paperwork involved in different tasks, but also assign responsibilities and store activities performed by each user. The PUSATIs administration, lecturers/instructors, management staff, student and parents/sponsors will each have their own accounts in the system through which they can access and share the information they want to and manage or perform all their tasks.

Through CEMAS, Campus Management will revolutionise the higher education sector in Uganda by allowing more knowledge sharing and collaboration while automating key processes involving the entire student life cycle and various stakeholder interactions. The system will facilitate transparency and accountability while reducing paperwork.

Students will benefit immensely through smoother admission and on-boarding, constituent relationship management and service delivery, graduation process management and career management. Campus Management will indeed open up a whole new world of possibilities for them.

Campus Management was chosen after an extensive review process including ability to meet the diverse needs of CEMAS as stipulated by the Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development.

As part of its expanding footprint and commitment to the region, Campus Management is powering campuses across various parts of Africa. Today, Universities like Kenyatta and Daystar in Kenya and Botho in Botswana are discovering newer ways of delivering an enriching academic experience to students with Campus Management's solutions.
