First Tuesday, a community of IT players, will host representatives of SA's Big Three in the financial services industry - Standard Bank, First Rand and Nedcor - in an e-banking panel discussion on 6 November.
The panel, comprising Dave Parratt (BlueBean), Michael Jordaan (eBucks) and Martin Pienaar (Nedbank), will discuss the banking landscape and their vision for the future. The e-banking panel was first hosted by First Tuesday in November last year, and proved to be one of the year's highlights. The panel were challenged on their dot-com strategies, online charges, and multi-channel marketing approaches. Now, 12 months later, the panel will meet again to update us on how they fared in implementing their strategies for 2001 and what they have up their sleeve for 2002.
First Tuesday is the premier e-business networking forum in SA, bringing together e-entrepreneurs with e-financiers and professional service suppliers in both a physical and a virtual forum. It is positioned as the meeting place for the e-business community in SA, facilitating people-to-people networking and introducing ideas to money.
