Canon previews doc
Canon is jumping into the digital document automation market with a preview of its office scanning solution featuring eCopy ShareScan from Nuance Communications, and the Canon imageRunner Advance platform, at the Canon Expo in New York, says PrinterComparison.
The eCopy ShareScan solution preview includes recent advances in paperless capabilities as well as a sneak peek at innovations to be included with the next-generation of eCopy ShareScan v5.0, scheduled for release by year end.
A few examples of innovations to be highlighted at the demonstration include the eCopy Forms Processing Extender to be extended to business applications and the eCopy Connector to Intuit QuickBooks Accounting Software.
LG demos solutions at IFA
LG Electronics is staging simulated environments of a hotel, school, office and airport duty-free shop at the Internationale Funkausstelung (IFA) in Berlin this week, states The Financial.
“LG's Business Solutions was created to bring real improvements to people's lives through their work environments,” said Soon Kwon, CEO of LG Electronics Business Solutions.
“Our unique technologies are integrated into packaged solutions that are tailored for different types of businesses so they can enhance their service and provide real benefits to their customers.”
Xerox shows off on demand printing
Xerox India, a part of Xerox Corporation, showcased its 'on demand printing and publishing' offerings for the graphic arts community at a road show in Kolkata, reports India Infoline Limited.
To strengthen its foothold in the digital graphic arts market, the company showcased its latest Mono Production Machine 4127 and its expanded portfolio of offerings.
Through live demonstrations of its portfolio of colour products from office to production range, the event created awareness about the benefits of digital printing and educated partners on Xerox products and solutions.
