Capgemini to support SAP apps in Amazon
Capgemini will help enterprises install SAP applications or migrate existing applications. Enterprises can also let the company operate and monitor the solutions, it said.
The consultancy has also created what it calls a Rapid Cloud Workshop, which lets users unveil SAP pilots, before going live, on Amazon's cloud.
“Our customers have realised to remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic market, they not only have to do more with less, but they also must continue to innovate quickly,” said Joe Coyle, VP and North American CTO officer at Capgemini, notes Executive Biz.
The Rapid Cloud Workshops will use Capgemini's Rapid Innovation, as its foundation to deliver proof-of-concept in days.
“Capgemini is an important systems integrator for AWS,” said Terry Wise, director, Business Development, Amazon Web Services, states Sys-Con Media.
“They have experience supporting global enterprise deployments of SAP solutions, have developed in-house skills managing SAP software on AWS, and have a formal training plan giving customers ease of access and knowledge for solution implementations.”
“This announcement underscores SAP's commitment to providing customers flexibility in software deployment options and innovations in cloud computing,” said Michael Ressemann, global head of Outsourcing Services and Solution Delivery, SAP.
