Squeezebox gets stylish
Slim Devices is to ship the third generation of its Squeezebox wireless digital music system at the end of the month.
According to The Register, the Squeezebox 3 focuses more on looks than functionality, tapping into Apple`s latest iPod colour scheme of black or white and sporting a fluorescent display.
The new unit`s antennae are hidden inside the box, but like the previous release introduced last March, Squeezebox 3 supports 802.11g wireless networking. It includes a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, headphone socket, RCA analogue audio ports, and optical digital and audio ports.
