Computer Associates International, Inc (NYSE: CA) today announced a new version of Unicenter Job Management Adapter that combines support for the SAP NetWeaver platform with the ability to consistently execute advanced inter-application workflows from within and outside SAP solution-based environments.
Unicenter Job Management Adapter r3.2 has been certified for integration with SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW) and the SAP job scheduling (BC-XBP) Background Processing interface. It enables customers to automate critical job schedules within SAP BW and SAP Web Application Server from a centralised, single point of control across platforms and applications. It also provides insight into the health, performance and optimisation of application infrastructure and critical business flows.
Features include:
* Flexible definition of job dependencies across multiple platforms.
* GUI-based job templates to initiate SAP Jobs, InfoPackages or process chains.
* Integration with the SAP Computer Center Management System to detect critical SAP scheduling events.
* Event integration for monitoring and automating response actions.
* Current and projected SAP workloads for capacity planning.
* Access to job status, spool output, job steps and other job-related information.
* Automatic re-start and recovery.
