The challenge

Silveray needed to consolidate multiple databases across four separate companies into a single, centralised B2B Trade Store. Each wholesale customer had to see their own correct pricing including custom discount structures. Orders needed to be raised into the correct ERP customer account and allocated to the correct warehouse location. The company also needed to open a product data feed to a retail e-commerce website.

The goals

  • Sync inventory, showing stock levels for each product by location
  • Sync wholesale customer data, including contract pricing structures
  • Provide streamlined product search for B2B customers
  • Sync wholesale orders into each customer's dedicated account on SYSPRO
  • Open a product data feed to a retail ecommerce website
  • Sync retail online orders into a dedicated cash account on SYSPRO

The solutions

Consolidating four companies into one B2B platform

  • Silveray sells out of four different companies. Stock2Shop consolidated their data on the console to enable selling from a single B2B Trade Store.
  • A feed was set up to send product data from each SYSPRO instance to the Stock2Shop console, where products are enriched with images and long descriptions before being published.

Customer-specific pricing and stock visibility

  • SYSPRO's hierarchy of discount structures is fully mirrored on the B2B Trade Store.
  • When a customer logs in, they automatically see the correct pricing, stock levels, and products linked to their company account.
  • Wholesale orders are raised directly into the customer's dedicated account on the relevant SYSPRO company.

Product segmentation and efficient search

  • Layered navigation allows B2B customers to filter by product attributes such as brand or category.
  • Elastic search bar handles partial or misspelled search terms.
  • Quick Order tool lets customers enter an SKU or partial product title to quickly populate and add products to cart.
  • For WooCommerce, product attributes are structured into categories and subcategories controlled by the ERP.

Dual-channel order sync

  • Wholesale orders: raised as sales orders into the customer's dedicated SYSPRO account. If the customer is not in good standing, the order fails and the accounts team is notified.
  • Retail orders: raised as an invoice into a cash account on SYSPRO upon reaching paid status.
