Casio intros eco-friendly projectors
The light sources produce up to 3 500 lumens of brightness and have an estimated life of 20 000 hours.
Casio introduced 12 of the new 'hybrid' projectors this week, including two new hybrid models in Casio's short-throw line.
According to Digital Signage Expo, the roll-out of three new categories of projectors, Signature, PRO and Short-Throw, will start this summer and offer features and functionality, including 3D capability, intelligent brightness control, interactive whiteboard and pointing, and MobiShow function, said the New Jersey-based company.
The projectors provide a 3D graphic experience and each model incorporates a full input or output interface, including three types of video and audio inputs, as well as HDMI, RGB and RS-232 terminals.
The intelligent brightness control features an eco function, which conserves power while illuminating sharp imagery, automatically adjusting the brightness to suit the environmental lighting conditions of any room, it added.
The MobiShow function is designed so that users can present wirelessly via any smartphone, computer and other mobile device equipped with wireless LAN capabilities, notes Projector Point.
Alternatively, there is a USB 2.0 function, available in select models.
