CDC Software intros Trace Express
CDC Software, a provider of enterprise software applications and services, has released Trace Express Viewer, a solution for its Ross ERP Lot Trace application, reports Accounting Software 411.
According to CDS, the solution enables easier use, faster access and immediate forward and backward trace functionality to identify suspect materials and assist in the disposition of finished goods in the event of a product recall - key functionalities for product safety and compliance.
The new solution helps manufacturers ensure the safety of their products and secure the trust of their customers while facilitating industry and government regulatory compliance.
PiVot system for LCD panels upgraded
Applied Materials has expanded its AKT- PiVot 55KVPVD system to include advanced copper deposition processing for manufacturing TFT-LCD flat panel displays (FPD), states Reuters.
Using the PiVot system, FPD manufacturers can transition from aluminium to copper bus lines to achieve faster pixel response and lower power consumption in next-generation LCD-TV panels.
The PiVot system delivers benchmark, cost-efficient copper deposition performance by combining high deposition rates, efficient target utilisation and long maintenance intervals with enhanced film morphology.
