Cellular communications company Cell C has been awarded an exclusive contract to supply and deliver cellular products and services to the City of Cape Town until 2007.
From this month, Cell C will supply up to 3 700 cellular postpaid contracts. The deal is in line with the City of Cape Town`s goal of consolidating its cellular business with one network, increasing value for money and providing more tariff choices for users in the city`s employ.
"The appointment of Cell C as our exclusive cellular service provider has enabled us to consolidate our business with one provider," says city manager, Dr Wallace Mgoqi. "I am confident this partnership will be of immense benefit to the city and ultimately to the residents of Cape Town."
The company says the partnership marks one of its significant corporate contracts with a major city since the launch of Cell C Business in July last year.
