Vodacom was named the most affordable and the most caring wireless broadband data provider in South Africa, in two separate polls conducted by online ICT Web site MyADSL.
According to a recent article on MyADSL, Vodacom was at the top of the list when it came to pricing. Vodacom`s smallest bundle is a 20MB service priced at R28 while the 1GB bundle now costs R399. Tariffs were compared across the three cellphone operators as well as with iBurst and Sentech`s My Wireless.
Vodacom also came out tops in a recent poll conducted by MyADSL. The poll questioned which broadband service provider cares most about its consumers and Vodacom came through with flying colours. iBurst came a distant second, followed by Sentech, MTN, Cell C and lastly Telkom.
Says editor for MyADSL Rudolph Muller: "Broadband consumers have consistently voted Vodacom as the most customer-centric broadband provider. This is most likely due to the fact that they are reacting to consumers` needs in pricing, technology adoption and customer support
"Vodacom`s progressive attitude towards new technology adoption means that they are global leaders in the mobile broadband environment. It is also interesting to note that Vodacom`s mobile broadband pricing is very competitive when compared to international standards. The combination of these factors with their visible dedication to consumer needs through open communication in online forums like MyADSL makes them a popular choice among broadband consumers," he concludes.
