CenterField secures rights to entire Bottomline suite

Centerfield Software has secured the rights to distribute the entire suite of Bottomline Technologies` document output management software, including Create!form, Create!email, Create!fax and Create!archive.

The suite automates distribution of documents through tight integration with existing business applications, without requiring users to be technically savvy, and allowing them to see benefits as quickly as possible.

"One of the biggest benefits users gain is the tight integration with ERP systems, along with ease of use," says Julian Field, MD of Centerfield Software. "Besides being a PeopleSoft Partner Connection Certified Partner, and being certified with PeopleSoft`s EnterpriseOne and PeopleSoft World, the suite is also tightly integrated with other leading ERP software such as SAP."

Deeley Harley Davidson Canada (DHDC) is using Create!form and Create!archive in conjunction with what was JD Edwards`s OneWorld, now PeopleSoft, running on OS/400, and has experienced massive productivity and financial gains.

Create!archive is available to DHDC customers via the Web and has eliminated the generation of 64 000 pages and related printer costs; slashed 50 hours for retrieving previously printed invoices; and 250 hours for printing customer copies of invoices, filing and retrieval of packing slips a year. DHDC also estimates eliminating about 100 000 hard copy packing slip archives annually.

"With Create!form we have substantially improved our responsiveness to customers. As it enables us to design attractive, high-quality packing slips, invoices and other documents, our output quality went up 1 000%," says Marco Del Monte, DHDC senior application manager.

Create!form software leverages existing IT investments and enables companies to streamline their documents by transitioning from hard copy to more efficient and cost-effective electronic output processes, without the need to reengineer existing systems.

Create!email simplifies electronic document distribution requirements with immediate savings through reduced or eliminated postage, handling and hard copy costs associated with traditional print and mail delivery of business documents.

Create!fax is a server-based document faxing system for the Create!form output environment and is an add-on module for any Create!form package, enabling automated delivery of business documents using standard output from any application.

Create!archive replaces the manual process of printing, sorting, filing and retrieving hard copy records. PDF formatted files are used to create an exact copy of business documents and a key benefit is being able to implement it without any changes to existing applications, but with tight integration.

DHDC deployed the software and created its first working invoice in just four days on central servers, making it possible to print packing slips or invoices from any location across the Web.
