Centravoice has signed a distribution agreement with Patton to distribute its products in SA.
Centravoice is a multi-vendor communications distributor in Africa, while Patton provides business and carrier-class network access, connectivity and voice over IP (VOIP) equipment.
"Our customers include medium-sized to large companies and multinational corporations that are looking for ways to either increase their business applications, enhance voice quality, increase traffic flow across their networks, or realise cost savings across their networks," says Charmaine Finniss, MD of Centravoice.
According to Doug Hill, regional director, northern Europe, Israel and SA for Patton, Centravoice was an obvious choice. "Centravoice has a wide footprint and an established database."
Patton's product range includes VOIP routers, G.SHDSL ipDSLAMs, broadband transmission, dial-up (V.90) and dedicated (xDSL) access servers, network termination units, base-band and short-range modems, fibre-optic modems, interface converters and surge protectors.
