Channel delivers record revenues for AmVia

RightFax and TELEform channel increase revenues by over 50% year on year.
Johannesburg, 18 Jun 2003

Local value-added distributor AmVia has announced that its business partners have increased revenues by over 50% year on year from fiscal 2001/2002. AmVia attributes this success predominantly to the mature business acumen of its partners, even in a challenging economic sector.

"Our most successful business partners are those that take a consultative-solution approach, offering clients improved return on investment (ROI), and immediate productivity and process benefits to existing ICT investments," states Robyn Grobbelaar, AmVia`s Head of Operations. "This is in direct contrast to several years ago when the 'box-dropping` mindset was the order of the day," she adds.

The company notes that its business partners and products have matched the higher levels of sophistication required by a broadening target market. In the case of RightFax, the product has evolved from its initial focus as a network fax server, to its present position as a leading e-document delivery solution.

Unifying fax, email and internet technologies, the product is providing efficient ways to send and receive documents electronically from desktop, e-mail, CRM, ERP and other business applications including SAP, Oracle, Baan, Siebel and others.

The TELEform information capture solution - which can complement the RightFax dissemination engine - empowers enterprises with a market-proven solution that enhances business productivity and agility by automating business processes driven by forms and documents.

Grobbelaar believes AmVia and its channel can sustain the record growth achieved in the year past. "Our technology is the enabler for our channel partners to address the holistic requirements of business process automation (BPA). We expect our channel to continue the exemplary approach that they have taken to the corporate market that has delivered remarkable results," she says.

"By providing a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by their customers, and deploying solutions that complement existing environments at a lower cost point with increased ROI and productivity benefits, I believe this growth is definitely sustainable, she concludes.
