RSA, the division of EMC, recently honoured the four winners of its RSA SecurWorld Americas Partner Awards, during its 2007 Americas Partner Conference, says CNNMoney.

The conference is designed to provide channel partners with information on the security division`s and vision, product roadmap, and future plans for the channel partner programme, as well as offering opportunities to provide feedback and input to RSA.

The winners included Forsythe Solutions Group, Electronic Systems, Gotham Technology Group, and Accuvant

New Age distributes Panasonic plasmas

New Age Electronics has signed an agreement with Panasonic Professional Display Company to distribute the full line of Panasonic pro plasmas nationwide, according to Business Wire.

This agreement expands New Age`s current distribution agreement with Panasonic, in which the company is responsible for distributing consumer plasma and LCD televisions, Blu-ray disc players, high definition camcorders, still cameras and other digital imaging, entertainment and communication products.

New Age will apply its vast product expertise and proven processes to help commercial resellers mitigate inventory risk, control costs, increase profits and drive business.

HP assigns channel reps

Hewlett Packard is beefing up its channel sales support team by assigning dedicated inside sales representatives to 500 solution providers that aren`t covered by a dedicated partner business manager, according to CRN.com.

Adrian Jones, HP`s VP and GM, said the expanded coverage model is designed to increase HP`s SME sales through the channel during its fiscal 2008, beginning in November.

He said the expanded partner coverage model is in the process of being rolled out and will continue throughout 2008.
