HP recently introduced various incentive schemes for channel partners that are delivering real results across the business, through increased sales and greater partner understanding of the company and its initiatives.
During winter, HP`s Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) ran the `Winning Moves` campaign targeted largely at driving sales of the latest range of monochrome printers through the channel. The incentive included two trips to the Maldives and a brand new Laser Jet 1010 printer recently launched.
Just under R15 million worth of sales on selected products were driven through this promotion alone during the duration of activity. Being purely sales-driven, resellers were set sales targets to achieve. Once the targets were reached, the reseller was allocated an entry into the lucky draw. The greater the sales, the greater the number of entries the reseller received in the draw.
"The channel is HP`s DNA and we constantly strive to ensure that a fundamentally stable relationship is forged between ourselves and our partners. The incentive schemes are just one way we can reward, educate and show our appreciation to our partners," commented Charlene Travis, HP Channel manager.
The finalists: Createk, CSS, Datacentrix, Eclipse, Introsat, PC Palace, Protech and Parkhill Computers all gathered in HP`s Rivonia office recently when the official draw for the Maldives trip took place.
Sarah Proctor from Introsat and Paven Chetty from Parkhill Computers walked away with the fantastic Maldives trip.
"The winners truly deserved the prizes," continues Travis. "The impact that this promotion made was largely due to the dedication and buy-in from the channel. HP would like to congratulate the winners and wish them a warm, sun-drenched vacation."
HP is currently running a Rugby World Cup incentive that aims to gain the same yield as the Winning Moves activity.
