Computer Associates International, Inc and Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ: CHKP) have announced that Check Point has incorporated CA`s eTrust Antivirus into the latest version of Check Point Express CI, Check Point`s integrated multifunction security solution for mid-sized businesses.
The combination of eTrust Antivirus and Check Point integrated intrusion prevention is providing its customers with continually updated protection from the full range of malicious code that threatens business computing environments today.
Check Point Express CI delivers one of the most reliable security solutions available with integrated firewall, VPN, intrusion prevention and anti-virus in a single easy-to-deploy and manage package.
The addition of eTrust Antivirus to Check Point`s solution enhances its ability to ensure inbound and outbound e-mail traffic is free of viruses and other forms of malware. This includes the real-time scanning of e-mail (SMTP), Web (HTTP) and FTP traffic for possible threats disguised within ostensibly legitimate content.
