Check Point Software Technologies, which is represented in SA by Dimension Data Networks, EC-Hold and Data Secure, has announced the expansion of its support of the Microsoft platform.
It will deliver a range of enterprise network security products for the Windows 2000 operating system and integrating all of Check Point Software`s products, including the VPN-1 and FireWall-1 solutions with Microsoft`s next generation computing architecture.
Check Point`s products are optimised to use key features of Windows 2000, such as Active Directory, Certificate Server and L2TP/IPSec virtual private networking.
"Check Point Software is working with Microsoft to tightly integrate and utilise the new advanced capabilities of the Windows 2000 platform," says Asheem Chandna, VP marketing and business development for Check Point Software Technologies. "Customers will be able to deploy our network security solutions in concert with the Windows 2000 directory, PKI and VPN frameworks."
