CheckMark offers SME payroll services

and provider CheckMark has begun offering small business-focused payroll services for free until 2012, reports Accounting Today.

All new payroll clients who sign a 12-month service agreement and have less than 50 employees. They must be located in Colorado, California or Texas.

New payroll clients can choose between three levels of service, depending on the employer's needs. These include Pay & File Complete, Pay & File Pro, and Basic Payroll.

CheckMark Pay & File Complete includes, online reporting, payroll services, tax filing, direct deposit, and online HR Support Center access, says Market Watch.

Payroll services can be customised for wage-type, departments, deductions, and garnishments as needed.

Employers can submit payroll hours online and a CheckMark payroll specialist will review each payroll before releasing it to the client for final approval.

The employer with Basic Payroll service handles filing taxes.
