ChinaSoft, Huawei on software outsourcing
The Sacramento Bee reports.
The joint venture company will specialise in software outsourcing with ChinaSoft International holding 60% of the joint venture and Huawei holding 40%.
The venture is said to be strategic to both organisations, Technology Digital states.
For Huawei, the deal is not simply a financial investment, but brings its years of good practices in ICT management, research and development management, and HR management into the joint venture to support the rapid development of the joint venture company.
For ChinaSoft International, this is another strategic partnership with a large IT company, following its strategic investment partnership with Hony Capital and Microsoft.
The joint venture is expected to promote China's domestic outsourcing industry and enhance the global competitiveness of China's software outsourcing industry, Business Review USA writes.
Zhao Hongzhuan, member of government organisation Xi'an standing committee and director of XHTZ, says: "The local government will continue to provide good service and convenience for the joint venture between ChinaSoft International and Huawei in order to support the joint venture in Xi'an to become bigger and stronger, leveraging the local resource into industry advantages."
