CHM Vuwani, the end-to-end IT solutions provider, has signed a service level agreement (SLA) with the local office of an international pharmaceutical company Janssen-Cilag.
CHM Vuwani is the black empowerment initiative of one of SA`s largest, independent IT solutions companies, First Technology, which has had a long relationship with Janssen-Cilag.
"We are delighted that CHM Vuwani was selected as service provider to a subsidiary of such a large global company. This speaks volumes for our ability to service at an international level," says Kim Hauser, senior account manager at CHM Vuwani.
According to Marc van Gool, IT manager at Janssen-Cilag - which markets such well-known brands as Imodium and Sinumax to the SA market - the 11 Compaq servers on which the SLA is based, support some 210 local workstations at the manufacturing facility in Midrand as well as offices in Sandton, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, East London and Durban.
"CHM Vuwani has comfortably met the conditions of our SLA, more than justifying our decision to partner with an empowerment company," Van Gool concludes.
