Choice Technologies, a privately owned BEE IT systems and integration company, has been awarded 3Com`s Gold Channel Partner Of The Year for the third consecutive year. The company was recognised at an awards ceremony held in Zambia and commended for exceeding standards in promoting 3Com products.
"This award recognises the efforts and expertise Choice Technologies offers and reinforces our commitment to our customer," says Abe Mbulawa, managing director of Choice Technologies. 3Com`s channel partner programme is a three-tiered system in which partners are defined as gold, silver or bronze. Status is determined by revenue commitment, regional coverage and the level of partner expertise. Choice Technologies excelled in all three areas.
Choice Technologies is one of the first local companies to deliver 3Com IP Telephony and voice solutions with additional maintenance and technical support. "The overwhelming evidence of productivity benefits and cost savings that IP Telephony offers is creating a surge in demand from South African companies. We believe that our expertise in this area will drive future success for our company and our 3Com partnership," continues Mbulawa.
Also announced at the awards ceremony was the acknowledgement of Choice Technologies sales executive, Mark Morey, as 3Com Best Salesperson Of The Year. Receiving this award for a second time, Morey was honoured for his personal contribution towards reaching sales revenue targets. His sales successes in the past year included government, healthcare and financial services sectors.
In accepting his award, Morey noted that 3Com`s future success in the local market would be driven by the demand for IP telephony, wireless solutions and high-end enterprise networking solutions. "As their strategic partner we are excited to bring these innovative solutions to market," concludes Morey.
