Cognos has boosted the visualisation capabilities of the Cognos Series 7 framework to accelerate the decision-making process of organisations.
Global leaders that include Cisco Systems have chosen Cognos Visualizer, tightly integrated into the Cognos Series 7 framework, to create interactive performance dashboards across corporate intranets or extranets.
As a consequence, Cisco will use Cognos Visualizer as part of a human resources (HR) project, allowing its managers to view employee information in a multi-metric dashboard. The company`s decision-makers will be able to view HR-related information by business unit and demographics, allowing them to spot trends and compare the information to overall corporate goals.
