Dimension Data has received Cisco`s Internet protocol telephony (IPT) partner of the year award for the second consecutive year.
At the 2003 Cisco Partner Summit, Dimension Data was acknowledged for quality development and delivery of its IP telephony offering within the South African market.

The benefits of implementing an IPT solution include a reduction in the enterprise`s telephony costs, by centralising its management. Productivity benefits are also experienced, whereby staff gain from the convergence of voice and data traffic onto one network and in so doing work more effectively.
