Citrix Systems, the global leader in application delivery infrastructure, has announced the South African winners of its 2006 Citrix Partner Awards. The awards were presented at Citrix Partner Exchange, held at the Park Hyatt in Johannesburg.

Troye Computer Systems won the coveted Partner of the Year award, while Business Connection received both the Most Proactive Partner and Highest Revenue Achievement awards. OAS was recognised as the partner with the highest new product adoption.
"Customers looking for specialists in the application delivery infrastructure space are assisted by our partner base in fulfilling their business objectives," says Lisa Kelynack, partner account manager, Citrix Systems Southern Africa. "These awards recognise the efforts made by our partners to ensure that Citrix customers receive exceptional service and return on investment." The award categories and criteria are as follows:
1. Partner of the Year - Troye Computer Systems
Troye Computer Systems, excelled in four categories including frequent and consistent engagement with Citrix Systems, new product adoption, new skills adoption and achieving new partner status.
2. Partner with the Highest New Product Adoption - OAS
This award recognises the partner that monitored its customer application delivery infrastructure requirements and has invested in staff training to specialise in additional areas to meet their needs. OAS adopted Citrix Access Essentials, Netscaler, Presentation Server, Access Gateway and Edgesight.
3. Most Proactive Partner - Business Connexion
The winner of this category is the partner who has proactively engaged the Citrix team by including them in all aspects of their business. Business Connexion ensured that it has the technical skills to support existing Citrix customers to a very high standard. It organised internal initiatives to ensure account executives were skilled on application delivery infrastructure and has worked with Citrix staff to assist in closing a number of opportunities.
4. Highest Revenue Achievement - Business Connexion
The Highest Revenue Achievement accolade is awarded to the partner who achieves the highest revenue in a single deal.
