Citrix I-Forum gears up

The Citrix I-Forum, being held in Midrand next week, will address topics such as reducing organisational complexity and driving down costs.

Citrix country manager, Chris Norton, says other topics under discussion include access strategies, and how these drive core business imperatives, and better leveraging technology in an organisation.

[VIDEO]Norton says the event "aims to address three main issues: What is an access ? Why do I need one? And how do I implement it effectively in my organisation?

"The event is aimed at organisational administrators - people who have responsibility for delivering IT to end-users, business leaders looking to find out how to successfully implement an access strategy, and technicians," notes Norton.

Some of the highlights of the event, he says, will be feedback on the Coleman-Parks research commissioned by Citrix, and customer case studies.

The annual Citrix I-Forum, the company`s second, will take place on 19 July, at the Vodaworld Vodadome in Midrand. Registration begins at 8:30am on the day.

"The event this year is free and we encourage all interested to register at www.citrixiforumafrica.co.za prior to attending," says Norton.
