Clearswift, the world`s leading provider of software for managing and securing electronic communications, has won the award for best e-mail security product in the annual UK Secure Computing awards. The winning product is CS MAILsweeper 4.3 for SMTP.
The award was presented to Clearswift at the 2003 SC Awards Dinner, held on 29 April at the London Hilton Hotel.

CS MAILsweeper for SMTP, launched in 1996, is the world`s leading e-mail content security product. MAILsweeper disassembles e-mail and e-mail attachments at the SMTP Gateway, validates the content against the organisation`s e-mail policy and cleans, detaches or blocks threats before delivery to the intended recipient. CS MAILsweeper 4.3 for SMTP is the latest version of the product and has been available since August 2002.
The SC Awards are the premier annual awards for information security in the UK, and were established seven years ago. The SC Awards ceremony always takes place on the first evening of the "Infosecurity Europe" show. The SC awards programme is organised by SC Magazine, the UK`s leading information security publication.
