Client 4 Life enabled by KeyTools

Johannesburg, 15 Jun 2004

Client 4 Life, a lifestyle services organisation that was launched in SA earlier this year, has now `mobile-enabled` its Call:24 offering through the use of the mobile application software solution that has been developed and provided by KeyTools.

The mobile enabling of Client 4 Life, which uniquely separates it from any other competitive offerings currently available, allows brokers to call up all relevant information such as the brochure and application form via a mobile device such as a PDA, notebook or smartphone. The application can then be completed and transmitted from the same device, immediately effecting membership for the individual or family involved via the return acceptance notification.

"The involvement of KeyTools in this project has created for us a very user-friendly and convenient means of transacting our business," commented Garth Ibbetson, Managing Director of Client 4 Life. "Additionally, the use of mobile technology in this way has enabled us to gain some important differentiators in this very competitive market space."

"Every day we are uncovering new application needs within the mobile environment," added Richard Chalk, Founder and CEO of KeyTools International. "Client 4 Life`s mobile-enabled operation is just one of the latest exploitations of this new technology."

Call:24 Lifestyle Services includes a host of capabilities oriented around convenience, counselling, `peace of mind` and `ask-an-expert`.

Client 4 Life is a private initiative focused on the lifestyle market, creating peace of mind for members in all business sectors.

Apart from specific mobile applications such as GlobalOrder, KeyAssess, KeyLife and mobiSCAN; KeyTools has also developed TransPhormer, a browser-independent remote data transfer protocol, which is loaded onto a dedicated server or within a partition of an existing server and is fully scalable. It allows information to be transferred with reduced connectivity time, reduced security risk, reduced data throughput and increased accuracy to a PDA, eg palmtop, laptop and certain smart phones. When activated, TransPhormer enables data transmission via GPRS/GSM, HSCSD, or Bluetooth technologies, between the PDA and a company`s server that is hooked into its database, eg ERP, CRM, support and financial, therefore making mobile application commerce a realistic and cost-effective proposition.
