CliQr unveils cloud management service

The cloud application management platform service is designed to help businesses to quickly and securely deploy, manage and optimise the performance of existing applications on any private, public or hybrid cloud without migration disruption and expense.

According to CloudTimes, CloudCenter is composed of two primary components; the CloudCenter Orchestrator environment and CloudCenter Manager.

The CloudCenter Orchestrator environment is advanced technology that enables different applications to work with different clouds without either having to be modified for each other. A hybrid App/Cloud abstraction layer, the Orchestrator environment is made up of three components: the App Orchestrator Templates, the Cloud Orchestrator and cloud-specific CloudBlades.

The CloudCenter Manager application suite is an intuitive dashboard that IT end-users interact with to manage every aspect of moving, managing, optimising and securing their applications on clouds.

CliQr already has a number of customers using the service, Computerworld writes.

Medical equipment provider RefleXion Medical deployed the service to run an application on both Amazon and Rackspace clouds. RefleXion was able to package its application for the cloud within a single day and was able to cut the time of running the application to less than 24 hours in the cloud, much less than the four weeks it required to run the program on in-house equipment.
