Cloud On Demand has been utilising Mimecast for Unified Email Management in its Cloud Exchange and Cloud Zimbra environments for some time. The opportunity to grow into the African market, and prove cloud solutions work beyond just South Africa, has led to Cloud On Demand being appointed as a distributor for the SADC region (excluding South Africa).
"Our strategic relationship with Tarsus Technologies will allow us to offer cloud solutions to key partners in the SADC regions through the Tarsus Africa team. We see Mimecast as being the first step in proving that cloud can work and delivers business value," said Kathryn Blom - Channel Manager.
Cloud On Demand will be focusing on a group of select SADC partners in order to pilot the programme over the remainder of the year. The vision is to use Mimecast as the first brick in the foundation of the reseller migration from hardware resellers to cloud integrators, and build trust in cloud services at both the partner and the end-user levels.
