Business intelligence (BI) company Cognos has announced its support for mySAP BI, through the integration of Cognos Series 7 with SAP Business Information Warehouse 3.0B (SAP BW), a component of mySAP BI.
Cognos Series 7 offers joint customers powerful analysis, ad hoc queries, reporting and event notification.

"With pre-built catalogues and models based on mySAP BI business data, Cognos Series 7 is designed for accelerated deployment in an SAP solution environment.

mySAP BI customers can also extend the reach of their BI solution by enabling remote users to quickly tap mySAP BI data with mobile-enabled Cognos multi-dimensional data stores, as well as global access to reports and analysis across a highly scalable Cognos extranet environment. End-users can run ad hoc queries against data in mySAP BI by formulating plain-language requests and clicking on tables with descriptive, intuitive names - ensuring easy, rapid access to critical business information.
