Cognos ranks in top 100 on the InformationWeek 500

Cognos, a business intelligence and performance management solutions vendor, has been listed on the InformationWeek 500 list as one of the top 100 most innovative companies. The top 2006 InformationWeek 500 companies were announced at a gala awards ceremony held during the InformationWeek 500 Conference in Rancho Mirage, California from 10 to 13 September.

For the past 18 years, InformationWeek has identified and honoured the nation`s most innovative users of information technology with its annual listing. The list is unique among corporate rankings because it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders.
