Cognos receives Baan Company certification

Cognos, the leading strategic business intelligence vendor, has announced at BaanWorld `98, their certification within BaanCAPPS (Certified Applications Provider Program) for the Baan Company`s Enterprise Decision Manager, the company`s new information warehouse framework. The Baan Enterprise Decision Manager automatically exports information from Baan Enterprise applications into a data warehouse or data mart for business analysis. Using Cognos` PowerPlay and Impromptu, users can perform advanced OLAP analysis against this content.
