ProScan Media Products (PMP), a leading provider of labelling, coding and marking solutions to the southern African market, launches the Collamat NG series of print 'n apply label applicators, ideal for a wide range of industries, including food, beverage and pharmaceuticals.
This robust applicator series, based on the latest Swiss moulding technology in cast aluminium, features a low weight construction for easy installation and service, and delivers quality, high-speed labelling of up to 100 000 labels per hour.
Characterised by a compact well-designed label dispenser, the Collamat NG 50 and NG 100 units are extremely versatile and require minimal space as the whole system is mounted on one base plate. The range integrates with any product line and can be exchanged easily with short change-over times, allowing for a better overall packaging solution.
With self-teaching and label scanning, the NG series allows for an operator-free labelling system, with limited adjustment required. Once the roll is placed and threaded, the optical label scanner will identify the gap between labels automatically and adjust the reading for every label, despite unique shapes. The dispenser also allows for a longer run as it has the capacity to load 400mm label rolls.
The added benefit of the unit is that it allows for easy operator interface and features password protection levels, a three level alarm setting, configurable screen information and external mounting display. The unit also provides the option for plug and play connection to Ethernet networks.
The Collamat NG series forms part of ProScan's inline labelling, coding and marking solution that includes inkjet printers, print 'n apply applicators and label applicators. To find out more, visit http://www.proscanmedia.co.za/campaign/inline-coding-and-marking.html.
