Colosa debuts business process software
Market Watch reports.
It supports two types of diagrams: process diagrams, which show the flow of a process inside a single entity or business, and collaboration diagrams, which display the communication and messages between processes, making it easy to identify the participants of each process.
According to ZDNet, the ProcessMapper is not open source per se, but is based on what will become the ProcessMaker 3.0 Open Source Designer, a company spokesperson said.
“To begin using the BPMN 2.0-compliant process modelling software, users simply log in via popular social networks Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
“The drag-and-drop BPMN 2.0 interface has been specifically designed with collaborative professionals in mind that need to create, maintain and share process maps, diagrams and documentation,” according to the Colosa Web site.
