Coming to the fore - 4most sets sights on SAP Business One channel lead

Johannesburg, 16 Apr 2009

SME companies that have outgrown legacy systems and have a greater need for control and integrated management solutions, are the target of a new force in the implementation and support of SAP Business One ERP and financial software solutions.

The company, 4most, is the final result of the January merger of Lorge Business One and Britton Solutions.

Today, 4most can draw upon the most extensive resources pool and is the biggest of the 20 players active in the SAP Business One South African channel. According to Eugene Olivier, managing director of 4most, the company now has greater scope and depth of expertise.

“Our merger has provided an experienced skills base beyond my expectations and we have not only grown in numbers, but our business base has tripled,” says Olivier. “As 4most, we now have the platform from which to achieve our goal of being the top SAP Business One supplier and services provider in Southern Africa.”

A member of the Logic Group, 4most has offices in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town, and provides solutions and support services to businesses throughout Southern Africa. The Logic Group is a specialist advisor on business solutions in the mid market, formed by a restructuring and refocus of what used to be branded business solutions provider Lorge.

Cornel Schoeman, business development director of 4most, said the company's expertise in addressing niche needs for specific business categories ranging from retail, point of sale, sales and distribution to manufacturing and services had also been boosted by the recent merger.

“We are able to extend the SAP Business One core ERP solution through a range of application interfaces and add-on software products delivered by our partners in order to provide companies with totally integrated solutions.

“There are many SME businesses that have outgrown their current financial systems and 4most is well placed to offer them a very structured methodology to ensure the best product fit for their needs as well as high level ongoing support and services.”

The consultants at 4most are all SAP certified and qualified in PPIM (principles of production and inventory management) with a further skills base covering project management and account management.

Head of SAP Business One for South Africa, Paul Vermaak, confirmed that since the January merger, 4most was the best-performing business partner during the first quarter of 2009.

“The formation of 4most out of two of our leading and long-standing channel partners will create a bigger pool of expertise and know-how available to SAP Business One users,” said Vermaak. “It should trigger greater competition in the top end of the market which is good for business and the channel.”

Olivier said 4most has its sights set high and the company's SAP Business One market lead in client base and turnover augurs well for the remainder of the year. “We have a comprehensive pool of SAP Business One system application, implementation and solution support know-how as well as an extended scope of value-added services and support.”
